Marcos Juarez, born Sept. 8 1984 in Santa Barbara CA, got his first glimpse at hardcore at the age of 16 when he heard oldschool gabber mixtapes from a friend of his and became a raver in the LA scene. He was inspired by this harder style of techno that gave him a way to release his aggression. At the age of 17, Marcos got his first pair of turntables as a birthday gift and started his collection of Hardcore Gabber. Marcos knew he wanted his mixes to portray a story of his thoughts on life so his listeners can relate and let themselves go. He discovered he had a unique style of programing, double dropping, cut mastering, tricky mixing skills . From then on Marcos became Markor [mar-core], a kid who wanted to be a top Hardcore DJ/Producer.
In 2004 Markor was discoverd by the LA legends Inyoung and Static. They heard one of his mixes and were amazed at his skills and the style he brought. Both of them grabbed Markor and his vinyl and threw him straight on to the ones and two's of the LA Hardcore Rave scene. He came out hard with his clean live mixing, high energy, fist banging, dancefloor filling sets. This Hardcore DJ made his mark.
Since then, Markor has become one of LA's finest and Santa Barbara's best Hardcore DJ. Putting out numerous mixes that are played all over the world like Hardcore Wars 8(Inyoung vs Markor), Hardcore 4 Dumbfucks volumes, Markor 2008, and the famous End Of The World(Live) mix, plus many more. This helped him work his way up to open up for some of the greatest Hardcore DJ's/Producers from all over the world, such as Angerfist(NL), Art Of Fighters(Italy), The Producer and Hellfish(UK), Tommyknocker(Italy), Rob Gee, LA's RonDcore, Inyoung and Static, just to name a few. He has played all up and down California, Las Vegas and Arizona. He just cannot help but bring it to you hard, leaving the crowd chanting for more.
Joining LA's Harcore Crew NBR(Nuthin But Respect) in 2007 and Technofancy in 2008, he has been making a big name for himself. Markor is a true hardcore head who is here to show you his side of the game from his mind to his heart, through his fingers and out the speakers!
