Jesse Jacobs was first introduced to hardcore in 1999 at the age of 17, when a high school friend of his suggested Jesse to buy a mixtape mixed by Delta 9, which was titled Deuschtland. After listening to this, Jesse was inspired to check out many more hardcore DJs & mixes and ended up finding & respecting DJs such as Inyoung, Omar Santana, Tron, Mark N, Ron D Core and many many more. Later that summer, Jesse was taken to his first underground party, where he witnessed Delta 9 & Tron on a 6 turntable set up. He had never seen or heard anything like it before, and from that point on he was inspired to do something as amazing as what he had just seen, if not more amazing.

Over 7 years have passed since Jesse witnessed that performance, and he has accomplished quite a lot since then. Jesse has been DJing under the name ‘Elektroholic’ since April 2000. Elektroholic specializes in mixing hardcore, drum n bass, and U.S. hard house. He has several mixes such as Finally, Live @ Hardcore Haunakuh, Destroy All Boundaries, and various other half hour demos which display various styles of hardcore. Elektroholic has also collaborated on other mix releases with other DJs such as Ballistic Ali, H-Rock, DJ Squiggles, & Elekid…with many more collaboration projects in the works. Elektroholic has performed at underground events & house parties all over the state of California including Los Angeles, Sacramento, Oakland & San Francisco. He has also performed in various other locations nationwide such as Las Vegas NV, Tucson AZ, Reno NV, & Chicago IL.
